The Dominican Campus Development Page Since 1860, thousands of good men and women have assisted the Dominican Sisters of the St. Cecilia Congregation in their mission of following the example of St. Dominic in proclaiming the good news of the Gospel through Christian education. We are indebted to those who share in the continuation of this mission. We are here to assist alumni/alumnae, parents, and friends who wish to invest in this mission. That investment is in our current and future students, who will go out into the world and spread the lessons they learned under our care. Endowment - The Dominican Campus Endowment Fund is an umbrella management vehicle for over thirty separate endowed funds and scholarships for Overbrook School, St. Cecilia Academy, and Aquinas College, which exceeds $5,000,000 in value. The Endowment provides the third source of stable revenue for the schools in addition to tuition and annual giving. With the Endowment, donated funds are permanently invested and only the income from the investment is used. Gifts - Your gift to Overbrook School, St. Cecilia Academy, or Aquinas College allows students to share in a wonderful educational experience that is a foundation for all the years of their lives. Annual Fund - Revenue from tuition does not cover the cost of educating any campus student in a given year, so the Annual Fund is a key component in balancing the annual operating budgets of Overbrook School, St. Cecilia Academy and Aquinas College. Annual Fund donations are applied where needed most at the donor-designated school, and they subsidize areas such as faculty/staff salaries and benefits, facility and grounds maintenance, instructional materials and financial aid. A successful Annual Fund also helps keep tuition as affordable as possible for students and their families. Donor Recognition - The many donors who support the work of Overbrook School, St. Cecilia Academy, and Aquinas College are remembered daily in the prayers of the Sisters. These donors are recognized several times throughout the year with special events and in publications. Memorials/Honorariums - Many of our donors like to remember or honor a loved one with a gift to one of the Campus schools. Capital Campaign - A capital campaign to improve the facilities for the students at St. Cecilia Academy and Overbrook School. |
