The
Annual Fund
Revenue from
tuition does not cover the cost of educating any Campus student in a
given year, so the Annual Fund is a key component in balancing the
annual operating budgets of Overbrook School, St. Cecilia Academy
and Aquinas College. Annual
Fund donations are applied where needed most at the donor-designated
school, and they subsidize areas such as faculty/staff salaries and
benefits, facility and grounds maintenance, instructional materials
and financial aid. A
successful Annual Fund helps keep tuition as affordable as
possible for students and their families.
Every year,
over 100 alumni(ae), parent, grandparent, friend, and faculty/staff
volunteers work to make the Annual Fund a success.
Gifts to the Annual Fund are raised through mailings,
personal phone calls and visits from volunteers, and through calls
made by volunteers during the annual Phonathon.
Without the help of so many dedicated people, the Annual Fund
would not be a reality.
The Annual
Fund is the foundation of The Dominican Campus development program.
Most donors begin their charitable giving relationship with
the Campus and its schools through their support of the Annual Fund.
Donations to
the Annual Fund are fully tax-deductible, and can be made by cash,
check, credit card or through stock transfers.
Pledges can be paid in monthly or quarterly installments.
Each Annual Fund drive runs concurrently with the fiscal
year, July 1 through June 30.
