OUTSTANDING CATHOLIC EDUCATION SINCE 1860

Make a Gift

Overbrook School, St. Cecilia Academy and Aquinas College are the commitment of the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia Congregation. Beginning in 1860 with the founding of St. Cecilia Academy, the Congregation has grown to more than 280 sisters in 40 schools across the United States and in Australia, Canada and Italy.

Overbrook School was founded in 1936 and for its first 25 years was located in the White House. Aquinas College began in 1961 and has grown to more than 600 students with programs in liberal arts, teaching, nursing and business and now with residential life and masters programs in nursing and education.

The schools stand as a testimony to the generosity and involvement of so many individuals and families who have shared in the mission and vision of the sisters. The work of the Campus has been funded and maintained by these individuals for generations and will continue to thrive through their dedication and on-going devotion.

The Office of Institutional Advancement on The Dominican Campus is committed to the promotion of the schools and to ensuring that they are able to provide the finest facilities available while remaining financially secure. If you are interested in making a gift to any of the schools on the campus, please contact one of the following development directors through their school Web site, by phone at (615)-383-3230 or by e-mail:
