Postition: Kindergarten Aide

PT: Part-time (10 month)

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in elementary education with three years of teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities and requirements: The primary responsibility of this position is assisting the lead teacher in educating students at the kindergarten level in all subject areas with a special emphasis on the acquisition of basic reading and math skills. Experience with Montessori methods is preferred.

Spanish Teacher

Postition: Spanish Teacher

PT: Part-time (10 month)

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Spanish required with a teaching certification, master’s degree in Spanish preferred, three years of teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities: The primary responsibility of this teaching position is to provide a foundation in the Spanish language for junior high students in preparation for taking high school foreign language classes. Candidates must possess the desire to transmit a knowledge and love of the Spanish language and culture.

Substitute Teacher

Position: Substitute teachers

PT: Part-time flexible hours

Overbrook School roots children in truth, inspires them to wonder, and challenges them to give their best to the world. Come join our team as a substitute teacher for the 2017-2018 school year. ExtendedCARE

Position: ExtendedCARE Workers

PT: Part-time (2:30-6 p.m. when school is in session)

Applicants should enjoy working with school-age children and must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma. Some responsibilities include playground supervision, assisting students with homework, arts and crafts, and monitoring of computer usage.
