Did you know that girls' school graduates are 6 times more likely to consider majoring in math, science, and technology compared to girls who attend coed schools? (NCGS, 2018)

St. Cecilia Academy students Abigail Erickson '19, Claire Bohman '20, Morgan Harvell '20, Shelby Mryncza '20, and Meghan Rafoth '21 attended the Second Annual Women in Science event hosted by Belmont University's Department of Chemistry and Physics. While at the event, students participated in a career-panel, inquiry lab activities and tours, and listened to a keynote address on mathematical modeling of viral infections. The girls also got to spend time with Shelby Parton '18, who is a current student at Belmont studying Chemistry.
