Overbrook Celebrates Athletic Victories

NASHVILLE – Overbrook School is proud to announce their end-of-year athletic victories, celebrating the dedication of their students who continually strive for excellence in their endeavors on and off the court.

"Over the past year, we've been excited to see growth in our classrooms and wins on the field," said Athletic Director Anthony Simpson. "Overbook has a great history of athletics and our students this year were no exception. Whether it was in practice, at meets, in tournaments, or in activities with their teams, our student-athletes worked hard throughout the year. I am excited to celebrate their growth as athletes, but more excited to see the dedicated young men and women they are becoming."

Along with their parents, coaches, and teammates, Overbrook celebrates the following teams:

-7th and 8th Grade Girls Basketball: co-champions in the regular season
-7th and 8th Grade Girls Basketball: first place, diocesan championship for the second year
-5th and 6th Grade Girls Basketball: Coach Cat Tournament champions
-Overbrook Girls Track Team: first place winners in the Nashville Youth Athletics track championship, third year in a row

Overbrook seeks to build up each child as a whole person encouraging growth in the soul, mind, and body. St. Thomas Aquinas reminds us there is virtue in games and in the exercise, recreation of play and sport and we celebrate the successes in our athletic programs. Overbrook School applauds each athlete for their hard work this season.
